Q1. What is a Rudraksha?
A. It is the live fruit of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree.

Q2. Where is it found in the world?
A. The species of Elaeocarpus ganitrus are found in the foot hills of the Himalyan range and the gangetic plains in India and Nepal. They are also found in South East Asia mainly in Indonesia and also in some parts of Australia, Guam & Hawaii.

A. Rudraksha of every place differs due to the different species of tree of Elaeocarpus ganitrus found in different region.

Q4. What is the essence of Rudraksha and how will it help me?
A. Rudraksha word is made up of 2 different words that is “ RUDRA= SHIVA”&“AKSHA= TEAR DROPS”. It is said that when Shiva opened his eyes after a long gap in meditation tear drops of ecstasy fell to the ground and this formed the rudraksha.

Rudraksha is the personal belonging of the wearer and creates cocoon around you for protection.

A. We can Wear the Rudraksha at any time of the day , but at night while sleeping it is advisable to remove the rudraksha and sleep.
Women need not to wear the rudraksha during the menstrual days of 5 days.
Men and women are not allowed to wear the rudraksha to a cremation ground.
